The Charles Hotel has an extensive in-house book collection. Located in the hotel lobby, guests are invited to browse and borrow books from the multi-volume gallery. Many titles are personally autographed by authors who frequently visit The Charles Hotel or who take part in an ongoing author series sponsored by The Harvard Coop and The Charles Hotel. Recent authors have included Hillary Clinton, General Montgomery Meigs, Sebastian Junger, David Mamet, William Kristol and Caroline Kennedy. So curl up with the biography of an explorer or simply look through all the signed books in this unique space, where you can sit back, relax and escape into the world of books.
