In May and June Rialto's kitchen turns its focus to the island of Sardinia. Current menu offerings include Steamed Littleneck Clams with fregola, roasted tomato, chilis, saffron, and parsley; Roasted Lamb Chop paired with braised lamb shank, spinach ravioli, favas, and pecorino; and Sardinian ‘Sebadas', semolina pastries served with young pecorino, myrtle honey, blackberry marmalade, and lemon ice cream. The Rialto bar menu features small bites, antipasti dishes, and full meals. Share a Grilled Shellfish Platter, or dig into heartier fare like Penne Bolognese or a Roasted Duck Sandwich with gingered figs, Gruyère and hand-cut fries. A welcoming gathering place for the community and hotel guests, patrons enter the restaurant via a white stone path inspired by an ancient Roman road, passing by the illuminated onyx bar into the dining room. Curved banquettes and cozy nooks invite intimate conversation while pumpkin, olive and white draperies evoke the warm colors of the Italian countryside. In warm weather Rialto’s new terrace offers alfresco dining in the shade of a saffron awning amid vine-covered trellises. The Boston Globe awarded Rialto a coveted four stars in three consecutive reviews and Gourmet Magazine named it one of the "World's Top Hotel Restaurants." Rialto also offers two classically elegant, private spaces, ideal for wedding receptions, business meetings, recruiting events, celebratory parties, and more.
