The Charles Hotel is currently looking for individuals who are ready to join a team of professionals in the following departments:

FRONT OFFICE:

Assistant Night Manager (Full Time): Previous front desk or night audit experience in a hotel strongly preferred. Strong problem solving, excellent communication and customer service skills required.  The ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays required. This is an overnight position.

HUMAN RESOURCES:

Director of Human Resources (Full Time): A unique opportunity is currently available at the award-winning, Charles Hotel!  A seasoned Director of Human Resources is needed to continue the success at this hotel. Prior experience in labor relations, management coaching, employment & training in a high-volume hotel and exceptional relationship-building skills are required for this position. The DHR will manage a team of HR professionals, work with a sophisticated work-force, and provide creative solutions to maintain and increase the standards, reputation and work experience for the entire hotel team. A hands-on manager with the ability to plan strategically will be most successful. Experience in a four or five star hotel and/or large boutique hotel environment is strongly preferred.  Experience in an urban hotel is also required.

RIALTO RESTAURANT:

PR/Marketing Manager (Full Time): The Rialto PR/Marketing manager is self-motivated, organized and creative. And most important of all, passionate about communicating the Rialto story to the world. The person has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with people from all walks of life. Finally, they have professional experiences in both the food/restaurant industry and in PR/marketing.

PDR/Events Manager (Full Time): Candidate must have strong management and organization skills. Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high volume setting. Strong knowledge of food and wine required. Must have an outgoing and friendly personality. The ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays required.

HOUSEKEEPING

Lobby Attendant (Temp): Responsible for maintaining all public restroom and public areas of the hotel according to the hotel's high standards of quality. This individual must have the ability to interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner. Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

SECURITY:

Security (Part Time): Search for, respond to and handle any security problems, issues, concerns and disaster emergency situations in accordance with all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure the safety and security of the hotel's assets, guests, and employees. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.  

INTERNSHIPS:

Internship Opportunities: Opportunity for students who are looking for an internship in areas of Guest Service, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, IT, Accounting and Human Resources. Unpaid internships during the school year.
