The Charles Hotel is currently looking for individuals who are ready to join a team of professionals in the following departments:

CATERING SALES DEPARTMENT:

Catering Sales Manager (Full Time): Experienced, self-motivated, outgoing Catering Sales manager needed to handle both corporate and social marketing in this extremely busy luxury property. Candidate must have strong organization and ommunication skills. Must have previous experience in hotel catering sales. Must be an excellent multi-tasker and time manager. Must have the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT:

Room Attendant (Full Time): Previous hotel housekeeping experience required. Must be able to clean required number of guestrooms to company standards. Complete other tasks as assigned. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35lbs. Weekends required.

Lobby Attendant (Part Time): Responsible for maintaining all public restroom and public areas of the hotel in keeping with IHR's high standards of quality. This individual have the ability to interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner. Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Laundry Attendant (Part Time): Responsible for: maintaining IHR housekeepingand customer service standards; ensures that towels, sheets and linens are cleaned, and ironed properly; and maintains the cleanliness of the laundry room. Requirements of the position include: the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment and remain on one's feet for extended periods of time. The ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays required.

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT:

Maintenance Engineer- Class I (Full Time): Responsible for: providing maintenance repairs to resort units, public areas and administrative offices: repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs. Requirements include: good knowledge of refrigeration; air conditioning; electric; plumbing; kitchen equipment and other mechanical devices; ability to meet the physical demands of the position, such as heavy lifting, working on ladders, and standing or walking forextended periods of time. Minimum of three years previous experience in working ith commercial kitchen equipment, basic plumbing, electrical, painting and staining required. Experience in HVAC preferred.

GUEST SERVICES/FRONT OFFICE DEPARTMENT:

Guest Service Agent (Full Time): Responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and riendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. As part of this job, this individual is required to: demonstrate good computer skills; accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of time; present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor. Previous Hotel front desk experience preferred. The ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays required.

Bellperson (Full Time): A Bellperson escorts arriving and departing guests in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their accommodations, as well as providing general information regarding the hotel and local attractions. This position requires basic English language communication skills, exceptional hospitality skills, and the ability to lift and carry heavy packages and luggage, and perform tasks requiring ending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances. Candidate must have a valid driver's license.

Concierge (Full Time): Concierge is responsible for providing information to guests about hotel services, features and room amenities. A strong knowledge of the local area to assist guests with their inquiries is an essential requirement of this position; previous experience in similar position is preferred. The Concierge is responsible for: following up on inquiries; coordinating requests for special arrangements; escorting VIP's to their assigned guest rooms; and interacting with all guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 yearsexperience at a luxury hotel, the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, ights, weekends and holidays and excellent customer service skills.

NOIR LOUNGE:

Lounge Manager (Full Time): This position is responsible for monitoring the lounge throughout hours of operation to provide high level of quality service. Ideal candidate will have previous experince in a high volume upscale bar atmosphere and will be very knowledgable about wines, cocktails and spirits. Must have excellent communication and computer skills. Strong problem solving skills and leadership skills required. The ability to work late nights, weekends and holidays required.

Cocktail Server (Part Time): Candidate must be personable, professional andoutgoing. Food and wine knowledge is preferred. Must have previous server xperience in a similar environment.

RIALTO RESTAURANT:

Lounge Server (Part Time): Candidate must have strong food and wine knowledge. Must be outgoing, friendly and possess a professional demeanor. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in fine dining restaurant required. Must be available to start by 3:30pm.

Host/Hostess (Full Time): Previous experience in a similar restaurant required. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, professional appearance and manner, and the ability to multi-task. The ability to work nights, weekends and holidays required.

HENRIETTA'S TABLE RESTAURANT:

Assistant Pastry Chef (Full Time): Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years previous experience as pastry chef in white table cloth restaurant. Candidate must have the ability to supervise staff and posses love and passion for the business. Must be innovative, creative and effective in menu development. Strong team building and communication skills required. The ability to work a flexible schedule required.

Pastry Cook (Full Time): Must be able to prepare and decorate baked pastries, cakes and cookies from scratch. Must work well with others and be creative. Knowledge of general ingredients, mixing procedures and equipment required. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. The ability to work nights, weekends and holidays required. Previous hospitality experience prefered.

Host/Hostess (Full Time): Must be friendly and outgoing. Must have excellent computer and communication skills. Previous host experience required. Must be able to work days, nights and weekends.

Server (Full Time): Must have at least three years of fine dining server experience. Must posses a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong wine knowledge required. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Dining Room Attendant (Full Time): Must have a minimum of two years customer service experience. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Weekends and nights are a must.
