Henrietta’s Red Sangria 

Summer across America usually means spending all day at the beach basking in the sunshine and dipping your toes in the water. And of course there are the fun family barbeques with the smell of everyone’s favorite food wafting together to tempt the entire neighborhood to swing by. Whether it’s a beautiful getaway to Cape Cod or spending time with the family in the backyard, our Henrietta’s Red Sangria is the perfect drink to take along with you! Fun to make and very tasty, all you need is:

½ cup strawberries

½ cup raspberries

½ cup blueberries

½ cup blackberries

¼ cup sugar

½ cup light rum

2 bottles light white wine

¼ cup orange juice

¼ cup cranberry juice

¼ cup cassis

1 cup sparkling wine

Once you have all your ingredients make sure you cover the berries with the sugar and let stir for 1 hour. Then cover with the remaining ingredients and store chilled overnight. Serve in wine glasses over ice and you’re ready to enjoy in the sun!
