As neighbors and friends, The Charles Hotel works closely with the Harvard University community every spring to celebrate commencement and recognize the achievements of the graduating class. While we may not be able to celebrate in person this year, we would still like to share the incredible accomplishments of the graduating class of 2020.

We are currently accepting nominations from friends and family of 2020 Harvard Graduates with the hashtag #CharlesHotelHonorsHarvardGrads For every nominated graduate, we’ll recognize their accomplishments by sending a personalized small Thank you gift to a frontline COVID worker in the graduate’s name.

Charles Hotel is currently housing doctors, nurses, frontline workers and medical personnel as they work tirelessly against COVID-19. We’d like to express our appreciation for these workers while also recognizing the Harvard Graduates class of 2020.

Our goal is to exchange positive, uplifting stories about the accomplishments of Harvard’s graduating class of 2020, while recognizing those who are putting everything at risk to save lives.

How it works

Nominations will run through Instagram. Friends and family of Harvard graduates can nominate their 2020 grads by creating an Instagram post using the hashtag #CharlesHotelHonorsHarvardGrads

For every graduate nominated, we will recognize their accomplishments with a personalized small Thank you gift to a frontline worker, and a note telling them about the graduate.

Please help us share these stories by nominating Harvard graduates and also frontline workers, doctors and nurses to the program.

How to nominate a 2020 Harvard Graduate:

• Create an Instagram post featuring your graduate. We’d love to share their story, so please feel free to include a short bio, their major, or a little tidbit about their journey to graduation.
• Make sure to use the hashtag: #CharlesHotelHonorsHarvardGrads
• We’ll receive your nomination and send a small Thank you gift to a frontline worker, honoring your graduate personally.
• Your Grad will be featured here, on the Honor Our Grads page.

How to nominate a frontline worker:

• Create an Instagram post nominating a frontline worker; a doctor, nurse, medical professional, supporting staff or any other frontline worker making a difference during the COVID-19 crisis.
• Make sure to include the hashtag: #CharlesHotelHonorsFrontlineWorkers
• We’ll receive your nomination and send our personalized small Thank you gift featuring a Harvard Grad.
